Longtime JCHS Girls Tennis Coach Jack Kloss Passes Away

On August 16, 2023, the morning of the JCHS girls tennis team’s first day back on the courts, the JCHS tennis community received saddening news. Jack Kloss, who would have begun his 30th season as the girls tennis team coach at James Caldwell High School, passed away at the age of 80.

The longtime tennis coach was one of the most memorable and appreciated figures in the JCHS tennis community. Having personally benefited from his coaching for the last two years, I can attest to his wonderful character and insightful coaching.

In memory of their longtime tennis coach, members of the JCHS girls varsity tennis team have been wearing black armbands, reading “Forever In Our Hearts,” to their matches.

Our deepest condolences to Coach Kloss’s family. His obituary can be found here: https://proutfuneralhome.com/obituaries/jack-kloss
