Poems based upon the reading of Macbeth
Selfishness
Some people they are deceiving
But some people really see it
The truth must come out
Guided by evil that say if u listen u will prosper
You will do as it says and become a monster
When it comes out some might not be happy
But, yes, there will be retaliation
Yes, Macbeth was a liar
So he can always get his way
While other people suffered he only flourished
As he became ill, people started to realize
And would kill any to secure his seat
A tyrant in the making
Not the best for Scotland
While others seek revenge
Not all will get it
But the Thane of Fife, oh, he really wants it
Will do anything for the ones he loves
Scotland and his family
He will do what needs to be done
He goes in with anger and aggression
And comes out with the head of a traitor
Macbeth
I am Macbeth I’m not afraid of any death
I want to be powerful
the most powerful man of all
I will soon to be king
When I impair Duncan
Once that’s done I will be one step closer
One step closer
to the wealth, pride and power
I must speak to the witches
They will help me to see my destiny
But when I strike it couldn’t be me
Therefore I put my wife on ease
But once it’s done
It sure is fun
Indeed my share has come
Knock them out one by one
Oh, no, but what is that I see
It comes upon me without an ease
I stare, I shout without a doubt
For whom my time has come
The war has just begun
Macbeth is Dead
Macbeth is dead!
Off with his head!
Scotland is in dread
Because of what Macbeth had said
After it all, after the tyrants fall
All the others seemed to fall down
Macduff has claimed the crown
Once Banquo was done, the fight had just begun
Lady Macbeth shivered with fear with the witches in her ear
The blood could not be washed
But at what cost
All for the lost
The blood has now been washed
There he stands, so big and tall
Carrying the grandest head of all
Macbeth is dead; Macbeth is dead!
All around him in grateful dread.
Staircase To Darkness
Tyrant Macbeth
Filled with dark and evil darkness
Power is what he wanted
Ambition was a major key
Filled with dark and evil darkness
Cruel cruelty from the head to the toes
Ambition was a major key
Ambition is what opens darkness
Cruel cruelty from the head to the toes
Wicked is running his life
Ambition is what opens darkness
Darkness that leads to sin after sin
Wicked is running his life
The running won’t end until a powerful light lights it up
Darkness that leads to sin after sin
Sin after sin is a stairway to hell
The running won’t end until a powerful light lights it up
Already absence from light no light can pass
Sin after sin is a stairway to hell
Being burned for eternal life
Already absence from light no light can pass
The black desires don’t let him see
Being burned for entenal life
Having the Devil next to you
The black desires don’t let him see
The crown on his head was what he ever wanted
Poem based upon the reading of The Crucible:
The Lie For Love vs The True Love By Kevin Leal -Avelino
One girl, Abigail Williams – her innocence lost in bed of John Proctor
Suddenly the Devil is loose in Salem
The Village cries “witchcraft”
Abigail’s vengeance turns into Proctor’s Wife
suddenly the Devil is loose in Salem
Abigail is blaming others to save herself
Abigail’s vengeance turns to Proctor’s wife
Innocent Elizabeth is accused of witchcraft
Abigail is blaming others to save herself
Abigail wants John Proctor so she blames Elizabeth
Innocent Elizabeth is accused of witchcraft
Elizabeth has a dark cloud over her innocent head
Abigail wants John Proctor so she blames Elizabeth
Abigail’s love for John is from the devil’s home to the moon
Elizabeth has a dark cloud over her innocent head
The darkness was so dark that a lie broke from her heart
Abigail’s love for John is from the devil’s home to the moon
Her love is so much that darkness can’t separate her love
The darkness was so dark that a lie broke from her heart
Elizabeth told her first lie in the court of law
Her love is so much that darkness can’t separate her love
Her love is guilty that she decided to leave and spread evil
Elizabeth told her first lie in the court of law
Elizabeth’s love is more than a lie
