Every year, new Halloween costume trends emerge. After interviewing a couple students in the school, I’ve gotten some insight into what some of the trends may be this time around. Here are some questions I asked Seniors Ava Bell and Gianna Mancuso:
What are you dressing up as for Halloween this year?

Ava responded, “this year for Halloween I’m dressing up as Little Bo Peep,” while Gianna said, “this year for Halloween I’m dressing up as an angel”
Where did you get your costume idea from?
Both Seniors got their ideas from Pinterest, an online platform where people can post their own images and save those that are shared by other users. It seems to be a popular website for many students to find costume ideas.
A good amount of students also decide not to dress up for the occasion, such as Hannah Samuel and Natalie Reyes. Hannah said, “I’m not dressing up because I don’t find interest in it.” Natalie is not dressing up because she stated that she doesn’t celebrate Halloween.
Tracking Down Trends
I’ve found many popular Halloween costumes on Tik Tok. Tik Tok is another app where teens can discover ideas. Dressing up as Police Officers, Leo and Black Panther, and Greek Goddesses are a few of the costume ideas I found. These seem to be the most popular from what I’ve seen other girls posting there.
If you are interested in picking the perfect costume for you and your friends to show off this Halloween, I would highly recommend checking out Tik Tok! You could also follow in the steps of Ava and Gianna by scrolling through Pinterest.
Whether you plan to dress up or not, I hope you and your friends have a safe and bone-chilling time this Halloween!
