The Caldwell Chiefs Girls Volleyball team is off to another great start. At this point in the season they are 17-2 and have not skipped a beat from last year. They started the season with a ten game winning streak dominating their opponents. When asked how they kept their winning streak going senior Gianna Genello said, “We kept our winning streak going with good communication and great skills on the court. We all get along so well together and really enjoy being around each other.” As you can see the team has strong chemistry and it really shows out the on the court.
The team is led by seniors Madison Ciggaglione, Nora Czarnomski, Jenna Dromgoole, Gianna Genello, Jessica Matheiss, Rebecca Coughlin, and Kristen Raushenberger. Junior Abby Sloan and Senior Jenna Dromgoole are playing huge roles on the team with Abby’s 130 service points and Jenna’s 122 kills. The team hopes to continue its success moving forward. Gianna Genello says, “Our goals for the season are to win the county tournament and hopefully states. I think if we continue to work hard we won’t have hard time achieving these goals.” I wish the Caldwell Chiefs Volleyball nothing but the best and hope they achieve all of their goals.
