Q: Why did you start playing baseball?
A: I started playing because I found the game the most interesting out of all other sports I had tried. Also, there was much thinking involved, which I enjoyed.
Q: How long have you been playing baseball?
A: I’ve played my whole life.
Q: What are your plans for college?
A: Next year I’ll be attending Boston College and will probably play on some club baseball team.
Q: What is your favorite aspect of baseball?
A: My favorite aspect of baseball is the mental aspect of the game and hitting.
Q: Do you have any advice for other athletes?
A: I’m an advocate of practice. If you want to be good at anything you have to practice, and, being a game of repetition, baseball is very conducive to practice.
Q: What have been your goals throughout your high school sports career?
A: My goals have been just to get the job done when the team needs me and play to win a championship.
Q: How do you balance sports and academics?
A: Sometimes it takes staying up late, but academics has always been a priority for me and if you’re willing not to waste time, it’s not too bad.
Q: What are some other hobbies you have besides sports?
A: Besides baseball, I’m an avid musician, playing the guitar.
