The Devil’s Friend

By Carmello Carter

Girls sneak into the night

Conjure love potions about boys

One goes too far to get her heart desire

and now Abigail throws the blame

Conjure love potions about boys

these girls who play with magic like a toy

and now Abigail throws the blame

the lives she gave away will never be the same

these girls who play with magic like a toy

Betty starts feeling sick Abigail throws a fit

the lives she gave away will never be the same

the lies they throw are quickly taken in

Betty starts feeling sick Abigail throws a fit

in the courtroom they create the biggest sin

the lies they throw are quickly taken in

tell the truth or lie which one do you chose

in the courtroom they create the biggest sin

Mary is yelling John Proctor is from  hell

tell the truth or lie which one do you chose

but yet the truth is yet to tell

Mary is yelling John Proctor is from  hell

John Proctnor has no shame

but yet the truth is yet to tell

Abigail robbed him and ran away

John Proctor has no shame

Now in Salem witch trials are over and there’s no one left to blame

Abigale robbed him and ran away

And now John is off to Heaven forever put away

Dance with the Devil

by Gia DeRiggi

Dancing in the woods to summon a spirit, no clothes in sight

She drinks the blood to kill his wife

Elizabeth Proctor soon to be dead

Elizabeth Proctor now has a bounty on her head

She drinks the blood to kill his wife

Abby wants John all to herself

Elizabeth Proctor now has a bounty on her head

Abby will stop at nothing to get what she wants

Abby wants John all to herself

Mary puts a needle in a doll

Abby will stop at nothing to get what she wants

Abby claims Elizabeth’s spirit stabbed her

Mary puts a needle in a doll, Abby is a liar

Abby claims Elizabeth’s spirit stabbed her

John has had enough, Abby is a liar

John admits to witchcraft and now he’s dead, hung by a cord around his head

John has had enough

But for now Elizabeth Proctor still has a bounty on her head

John admits to witchcraft and now he’s dead, hung by a cord around his head

Elizabeth will hang too, after she gives birth

But for now Elizabeth Proctor still has a bounty on her head

John and Elizabeth will be together forever in death for not admitting to something they didn’t do
