The Return to Hogwarts!

Grab your broomsticks, wands, and owls my fellow witches and wizards, we’re going to Hogwarts!  In honor of spooky season and Halloween this year, the streaming service Peacock has released all 8 Harry Potter movies to stream for free (with ads).  As this is a time to stay indoors due to the dangers of Covid 19, having a Harry Potter marathon is perfect!  While the movies are only available for the month of October, there’s plenty of time to watch and enjoy these amazing films.

The movies are based off of J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter novel series, which consist of 7 fantasy novels about a young wizard named Harry Potter.  The novels mainly follow the story of Harry and his two friends, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, and their adventures at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.  The first movie, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, came out in 2001 starring Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter, with Emma Watson as Hermione and Rupert Grint as Ron.  The movies are perfect for the spooky Halloween season as they cover witches and wizards, and the setting of the movies mainly being dark and gloomy.  In my opinion, I find the third movie, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, to give off the most Halloween vibes; the movie is eerie, with huge pumpkins, ghosts, ravens, and giant spiders!  So make sure to download the app or visit the Peacock website this month to enjoy the Harry Potter movies before they’re gone! Happy Halloween wizards and witches :))
